Running

Today Katie and I ran around the neighborhood, trying to run all the way around without stopping. Nearly did it. I was a (sort of- kind of-not really) wimp and stopped twice and walked for five steps three times, but I jogged the whole way. The stops weren't that long. I'm proud of myself, we did a 19 minute mile instead of a 21 minute jog. We'll get up to speed, though.

I started running--well, I've been off and on. I seriously ran nearly every day summer, 2001 with Dad. Every summer afterwards it was more "I feel like running, I guess I'll do so." I started running this year once it wasn't guaranteed that we'd be wearing winter coats all the time. I haven't really done much improvement, but now I that I have a running buddy (Katie), it won't be so bad.

I like running. Period. Dad got me onto that, I guess. he doesn't run anymore, but he can skate while I run sometimes, in the summer.

I've been reading Katie's blog, and have been taking everyone's advice. If you have anymore, share it. If not, then don't share it.
