Man, That Was Fun (2)

Ok, so yesterday nite was a blast! We took a long time getting ready. Too long. ANYWAY, we got to C.F.H.S. (Cuyahoga Falls High School) and we set up, and I waited, and I waited, and I waited, and while I waited, I read The Dark Hills Divide, and man, that is an abrupt book. If you miss a sentance, you get so lost. I don't know how kt got through it so fast. I mean, she reads twice as fast as me, and I think even I was going too fast. Then finally it was my class's turn on stage. It went by so fast, I hardly knew I even did it. All that waiting, and practicing, and I didn't have a big part I was worried about, or looking forward to, so it went by too fast. I don't know if you get what I mean, I'm a little too tired.

So I waited a whole other part. The recital has two parts. This year it was scary stuff, and traveling. We did flying in the first half, and that was traveling, which was really Kelly Clarkson's "Break Away". Then I waited a whole other part until "spell casters" which was really about science. Break away was #11, and and Science was #10. It all went by in a total blur.

My favourite part was at the end when our teacher gave the seniors (you leave after highschool) trophys and said Goodbye. She always cried, our teacher does. We all hugged her off stage, after the curtain went down, and it was really really special.

Then we packed up, took some pix, and left. We came home, and ate (nervous laugh about here) donuts and brownies. And talked. And didn't get to bed till late. And I didn't get to sleep until about midnight, and woke up sometime during the night, because there was thunder galore going on outside. And got, all in all, about 8 hrs of sleep, which is not enough, considering 2 late nights in a row, and I'm used to about 9 hrs of sleep.

Today we got up relucantly, and packed up, or got ready, and hit the road, after saying goodbye to Grandma T, and mom, and dad, and Greta. We were off to Pops and Meme's house. We listened to Anne of Green Gables on the way, and now we're here, trying to function. Well, I'm going to get my puzzle set up, and eat sweaty M&Ms. They were in the car, and got a little melty. I like them a little melty. It takes some of the time out of eating them. ANYWAY, I'll let you go!

Yes, the recital was fantastic - you all did a greaT job!

And yes, I realize this is your post from Meme's that I thought didn't make it - unless you had one Tuesday. Still, I recommend typing your post into notepad (offline) and then pasting it in - just in case something happens like it did to Ab.
