I've been having problems with doing my bible reading. I think "I need to read the bible today," and I go "ugh." I realized I had a problem. but I thought about what I did each time I did my Quiet time, and that didn't help much. But then Sunday and church came around, and some people from HSLT came up and shared about what they had learned, and I learned stuff from them. Someone ( I can't remember who ) said that we need to get to know God before we can get to know his plan. And I realized that I had been worrying about his Plan for me, and I was getting so involved in that that I need to get back to God. So that gave me the boost I was looking for. Until October 7th, anyway. I also found my book I got from Tom Short last year, "Five Crucial Questions of Christianity." That helped, too.
I can't wait for both SVR and HSLT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I guess I can, because, as Dad always says, you can't go wishing your life away. I have time between them, so I gotta use it in the best way possible.
Wouldn't it be something if all the Christians in the USA went for broke, and told everyone the Good News. I mean, it's not like anyone's gonna kill you. Paul went for broke, and he died for it. There are just so many Christians who just lay low, and not even try to look for the opportune moment. Who just live day to day with no real fire burning for God. We need to look for opportunities to talk to someone about God. Even if it's just a little sentance. Even if it is just a small gesture of love. The world needs God's love, and we need to give them that.

Great thoughts on how much the world needs God's love and how often it's the little things we do that show others that love. I will be looking today!
I'll think about that.....
preach it sista (quite lit'rally) (I couldn't resist).
This is the phrase you never want to hear: ...I can't think of it! correct me, but it's something like, "in case you were wondering... that was the opportune moment". THAT'S NOT IT BUT I CAN'T THINK OF IT! Help me out here, pirates of the carribean fans.
"If you were waiting for the opportune moment, THAT was it." I love saying it, though I hope I never have to say it seriously. Only for random comments...
