So The Past Few Days Have Been Eventful...

I have actually cleaned my room! It's not completely clean yet, but the piles are smaller and I actually do intend to get rid of them very soon...

I finished Animal Farm and have since moved on to The Odyssey "for a bit of light reading" to quote Hermione.

I had an interesting conversation with Kaite a couple nights ago -- we stayed up till midnight *oooohhh*.... Basically just talking about majors and certificates and what I really want to do when I grow up. I'm not sure I have a good grasp on that yet, especially since I cringe every time I think about myself being a teacher. I don't know if it's because I don't know how to be an awesome teacher yet, or if it's because I'll hate teaching. Kinda a distinction I need to figure out.

So once again I'm spending a summer researching my passions -- after talking about how much you like languages, you eventually start to get bored with the idea. Sad, innit? But I think it'll be good. But I don't like having important stuff like majors up in the air like this. Hopefully God will tell me stuff soooooonn.!

Oh! I'm so glad Kelsey gave the link to LT sermons, I've been listening to those for the past two days. Sooo awesome :-)

:-D I'm saving the big news for last! Guess who is at our house right now! Claire! She'll be here till pretty much the end of July, so that's sweet. I was working tonight when she arrived, but when I got home, she was still awake, so I got to meet her! I think this will be fun. I'm looking forward to actually hanging out tomorrow :-)

I think that's it for now. I'm closing on Friday and opening Saturday, so I'll get like, 4-5 hours of sleep, so that'll be awesome! Not! I'll survive though.

I should go to bed...

I'm so glad you've been listening to them! What have you heard so far?

Your room looks awesome!

And you are doing a good job of trying to figure out your major, etc. I know it's hard work, but it's so much better to be thinking about it and finding out what God wants you to do NOW instead of just going along with a plan and finding out later you wish you had done something different! He'll show you, I'm sure.
Love you!

I feel like God will definitely show you as much direction as you need for the fall, He seems to like to keep us on the edge of our seats. :)
