What is Kent DOING to me??!!

Let's see... Tuesday was cold -- we had a couple flurries around 2:30 when I was in class, but when I was actually outside, it was just chilly.

I participated in TOMS' awareness day by not wearing shoes for one day. It was quite the adventure to walk outside my own door. The morning was super cold -- but totally worth it! I had flip-flops for inside, but I was barefoot while I was outside :-) I know, I'm crazy. I'm even more crazy with the fact that I liked it! um yeah. I think Kent is turning me into a hippie. No, I will not be going shoeless, but my bandana isn't helping much. And once it's springy and warm, I will be wearing my long flowy skirts now and again. Aaahhh!!

Classes were good, dinner with Kelsey, Abigail, Lauren, Sarah W, Michellikins, Jamie, and... me? was good (it was baseball night at Prentice). Kelsey even walked back to Johnson barefoot with me! By that time, the pavement had warmed up considerably. And then she promptly kidnaps me and I did homework in her room :-)

There was a reflection meeting/reunion in the evening for the spring break trip peoples -- only a couple of us showed up from columbiana county, but it was still awesome. :-) Adrienne wasn't wearing shoes either. :-P

Hung out at Brownie night with Whitney, Bethany and Nick mostly -- we were the "studious" ones in the lounge while everyone else was in the kitchen. :-P

Today... I actually got my paper done for conflict management, and I hung out with Emily and Michelle :-) Michelle and I are in the same physics class if she can sign up for the time she wants, so that's exciting -- she's also trying to get in the same lab. :-)

erm... Yeah. Haven't been doing anything too interesting...

Oh, I did go to the Invisible Children meeting, and I think I want to do the 25 hours of silence.

Wow, I didn't realize it, but posting all this is making me realize.... Suddenly I'm quite the social activist? I don't know really how I feel about all of it... but I'm discovering that I can make a difference, and I don't want to stand by and watch things happen that are not good. I feel like as long as I wear shoes on that day, I should be good :-P

And last but definitely not least... LIL SIBS WEEKEND IS COMING!!! I'm super stoked! Hope the girls are too :-) And I didn't know when Kid's club ended or anything, but there's a planetarium show at 6:30. No idea if there would be time to register them and stuff and get to smith hall in time, but if so, that would be fun. If not, no worries. :-) But yeah, I'm excited to hang out with the girls -- all five of them! :-D
